Established 1923

Welcome to Illini Hillel, where Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life was founded at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Hillel creates a warm and welcoming community where students from all Jewish backgrounds can meet, explore and celebrate Jewish life.

Fall 2020 Update

We're excited to open our doors and welcome students back to campus. We are creating new, innovative and safe opportunities to explore and celebrate Jewish life at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As we reopen in accordance with the "Restore Illinois" plan, we will be strictly adhering to government and University regulations and recommendations in order to ensure the health of our students, staff, and wider community. We encourage you to check out our COVID-19 guidelines page for details on our new policies and procedures to keep Hillel guests safe. If you have any safety or health concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Executive Director, Erez Cohen.

We are also thrilled to officially welcome the Class of 2024! We look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you into the Illini Hillel family.

Stay tuned to our Facebook page and emails for further updates.
