Welcome to Illini Hillel, where Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life was founded at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Hillel creates a warm and welcoming community where students from all Jewish backgrounds can meet, explore and celebrate Jewish life.

ANNOUNCEMENT: COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak Update

As you now know, the University is moving classes online. We know this news is emotional and we are here to help. More than ever before, we are here for you and we are committed to helping you stay connected to your Illini Jewish communities.

We know the state of the Coronavirus is constantly changing and Illini Hillel has been working closely with the University and local Champaign-Urbana Public Health District to follow all immediate and upcoming developments that involve our students and our community.

We at Hillel will continue to work with and engage our students in meaningful Jewish activities both virtually and on campus. We will continue learning activities such as Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) and MaiMondays through online platforms. We will work also to provide opportunities for those students who will be in the Champaign-Urbana area to connect to their fellow Jewish Illini.

If you have any questions or concerns, or just need someone to talk to. Don't hesitate to reach out to any of our staff.
