Location:: Illini Hillel Cohen Center for Jewish Life (503 E John St., Champaign, IL) - Remote for the Summer
Hours:: 6-8 hours/week
Paid/Unpaid:: Unpaid

Key Responsibilities:
Illini Hillel is looking for a reliable and creative student intern to focus on the communication aspects of Illini Hillel. The intern will work closely with the Program Director to send out a weekly email to market Illini Hillel and other related programs, manage the website for Illini Hillel, and maintain social media accounts. We use Wufoo, Constant Contact, Wix, Canva, Facebook, and Instagram to effectively communicate with our constituents on and off campus. This intern will be responsible for keeping Hillel’s social media accounts active throughout the summer by brainstorming and creating engaging content. In addition, the intern will be responsible for locating interesting online or in person initiatives to send out to the community via email and social media. The intern will also work with other staff members to assist them with email communications.
Requirements:

Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Familiar with creating emails, working on websites, and Facebook and Instagram

Has strong writing and copy-editing skills

Familiar with Excel and Word

Interpersonal communication skills

Able to work as part of a team
