Israel VolunteeringLivnot - One Week program- Work on community service projects in Tzfat, Northern Israel, Typical day features working in the morning with Israelis and your peers, hiking in the afternoon, fun and thought provoking programs in the evening.
JNF- For Jewish college students, graduate students and young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 with the opportunity to connect to the land and people of Israel through meaningful acts of tikkun olam (community service). It is designed for people who have already toured Israel on past trips and are now prepared to involve themselves in community service and give back to Israel. Oranim Short Term Volunteering/Internship - Oranim community service consultants will pair you with a meaningful service project in an Israeli community, based on your talents, desires and requirements. Select the length of time you wish to stay, the region/city in Israel where you wish to work, the type of population whom you wish to serve, and the kind of work you wish to do. Israel AdvocacyHasbara Fellowships - educates and trains university students to be effective pro-Israel activists on their campuses. ZOA Mission to Israel AIPAC's Advance Advocacy Mission Coexistence in the Middle East - Through interactions with representatives from a wide .variety of groups and visits to key sites, the program allows participants to analyze the current state of affairs in the Middle East from a more pluralistic, academic, and human perspective. Upon successful completion of this program, students will obtain 3 academic credits (45 academic hours) through the Rothberg International School (RIS) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI), which is rated among the top 120 universities in the world. Jewish LifePathways - for college students and young professionals interested in learning about and deepening their connection with Israel, Jews and Judaism. Hamerkaz - channel 3000 years of wisdom in a meaningful, user-friendly way, while touring the real Israel like you’ve never seen before and having a great time! Pardes - Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, a nondenominational coed institute of Jewish studies offers three 1-week sessions in January at their building in Jerusalem. Judaism & Social Justice in 21st Century Israel - Summer Seminar 2011 - Please join us for this unique program of BINA Center for Jewish Identity and Hebrew Culture and The Daniel Centers for Progressive Judaism. Study Talmud with top scholars, learn Hebrew, volunteer and get to know Israeli society; Learn up-close about the most critical issues of social justice in Israel today through hands-on volunteer experience, encounters with Israelis and tours throughout the country.
