Challah For Hunger
Challah for Hunger is a national non-profit organization that raises money and awareness for hunger and disaster relief through the production and sale of Challah.
The Illini Chapter of Challah for Hunger meets bi-monthly on Tuesdays and Wednesday to braid and bake challah in the Cohen Center’s cRc certified kitchen. Half of our chapter’s proceeds are donated to MAZON and the other half is donated to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
Each baking week, we make approximately 80-100 orders of challah; consisting of traditional ($4), cinnamon-sugar ($5), and chocolate chip-banana flavors ($5).
If you would like to purchase a challah, please visit bit.ly/illinicfh to place your order.
