Apart from playing catch-up with classes, this is a time that is slightly more peaceful and stress-free. It's a time to look around and appreciate the small things that are provided to us, both at the University and in our worlds. Take the time to thank friends for all they've done over the years--it will make their day, if not their week. Walk around the campus and quad on Saturday and take in the beauty that is around you. Try to be free of technology for a day or two and see how that affects your overall mood, chances are you'll feel more free.
True, these next couple weeks are midterms for a lot of people, but if you don't take the time to breathe and work on yourself as a person, you could burn out. Take it from someone who's done it before.
As Ferris Bueller says, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
