Besides the experiences I've had as an intern at Hillel, I am so thankful for the opportunities to meet new people and get involved. From bagel brunch every Sunday, to Shabbat dinners, to Carly's Coffee Talks, there are so many options to regularly get involved. By attending these events, and going to myriad others, I have met so many new people that I would not have the opportunity to meet otherwise. Hillel is so unique in that it brings Jewish students together on campus, and gives them a place to call home. On that note, I have come to the realization that Hillel is my home away from home away from home. I say that because I have my house in my hometown, my apartment, and then Hillel. Just as I feel so comfortable walking into the front door of my house or apartment, I also feel like I am coming home when I walk into the front doors of Hillel. I know that wherever I am in the world throughout the rest of my life, in addition to my home address, I will always have Hillel to come back to.
