I still don't know what I am doing. I know that I plan to graduate in May, I might go back to Boston, or I might be in Chicago or somewhere else with a job. However, I find that I can actualize and channel my goals and passions into a meaningful path more than I could 4 years ago. A significant portion of that has come from Hillel. Hillel has enabled and empowered me to take on leadership roles and to eventually co-found Tikkun Chambana, an environmental Registered Student Organization. The Hillel community has also operated as a safety net for me and has encouraged me to take risks, knowing that people have my back if I were to fail.
Therefore, I encourage you, as the semester winds down, to think about what is happening around you and what you could do, whether in a month, a semester, a year, or 10 years. If you figure that out, maybe you could tell me, but I happen to be enjoying the ride.
Shabbat Shalom and Happy Thanksgiving,
President Tikkun Chambana
