I AM HUNGRY. No joke, I have been hungry all day. I ate 3.5 meals today, yet I am still hungry. I was lazy yesterday. I didn’t make sourdough nor chicken stock. As I write this right now, my sourdough bread is proofing and the chicken stock will happen....eventually. Probably tomorrow.
My biggest challenge has been quantity of food. I’m trying to figure out if I am over-rationing my food in fear that it won’t get me through Thursday, or if I am just hungry with eating this amount of food. More than likely, it is a mix of both. This is what I ate today, and maybe it isn’t enough.
Breakfast: 2 egg omelet on my last remaining bagel and a banana
Lunch: about 1/4 cup of rice and a little over a serving of chicken
Dinner: A lot of chicken.
The most difficult part of today was our Pancake Bar event this evening. Aside from being utterly awesome with how many people were in the Lounge tonight, I was in total misery. Pancakes are easily one of my favorite foods and the entire building had the most mouth-watering aroma, yet I remained viligant and didn’t have any. It really made my dinner seem boring, despite how delicious it was.
I still have enough chicken to get me through at least tomorrow, which is why I am leaning toward me not having eaten enough at each meal. My goal for tomorrow is to eat a little bit more for each meal. I plan on making chicken salad for lunch and a chicken sandwhich for dinner. Lots of chicken.
