I graduated from Indiana University this past spring and I’m already seeing Snapchats of my friends moving back to school. It’s a strange feeling to be a new place where I know few people and I’m not in a familiar setting. For many of you just starting off at U of I, you know what I’m talking about.
Ask me where I was born and I will say St. Louis. Ask me where I grew up and I will tell you Denver. Ask me where I graduated high school and I will say Dallas. If moving that much has taught me anything, it’s that new starts can be scary until you realize that they’re the start of a wonderful adventure.
College is your next big adventure, whether you are just getting started or finishing strong. This is where you try new things, fail at others and realize what you’re passionate about.
I can’t wait to start this adventure with all of you and watch you go through this process. I hope you are all excited too.
