Over Spring break (March 19-27, 2011), 12 of us are participating in Hillel’s Alternative Break program, and we are so excited to travel to the urban communities of Miami to partner with City Year. We will be spending an intense week working on projects like building, fixing, painting, tutoring children and serving meals.  Through this we will be learning about the socio-economic and social justice issues that exist in our country.
